i've heard rumors that michael badnarik will run. he also ran in the 2004 election.

Yes, of course there will be a Libertarian Party candidate in those states where the party is registered. But nobody can predict who will be the nominee. The only sure thing is that they will lose; the only question is whether or not the Libertarians get more votes that the Green Party candidate as protest votes.(and whether either gets more than about 2% nationwide. )
