Your daughter should be free to make her own political choices without fear of financial repercussions from you! Besides being immoral, it will just put you (and Democrats in general) in a bad light and cause her to dig her heels in further.
The best way to influence her is to show her objective information from a number of sources. There is no such thing as unbiased media anymore so it's best to diversify.
Read the newspaper together, especially the entire front section. Then go to the Op-Ed pages and discuss the content there. Listen to NPR and watch CNN and Fox News together.
Have honest, frank, and spirited political discussions and let her know how you feel and why. Extend to her the courtesy of letting her do the same.
Make it clear that you care about the future vitality of this country and are deeply troubled about the direction this country is going.
I come from a long line of Republicans and believe in traditional Republican values, but have voted Democrat for the last 20 years because the party no longer reflects those values. The Democrats aren't much better though.
We have to choose between really crooked Republicans or mildly crooked but often stupid Democrats.
It's a disaster!
Below are some good websites that can get the conversation going. Email her articles that support your point of view. The more objective the source, the better.
You may or may not be successful at getting her to change her mind. If you're not, you need to respect her decision.

Maybe find out why she voted for President Bush! You come from a long line of democrats which means you have never voted for issues just the party. She might have some insightful information for you.
Even if you don't agree with why she voted for him, she is still your daughter blood should be thicker then politics.

1) Hand her a stack of international newspapers and say, "way to go see what you've helped do."
2) Tell her you're not mad, just disappointed.
3) Realize the Democrats will screw it all up just as bad.
4) Organize a 3rd party
5) Gain supporters
6) Stage a coup
7) Gain control of the government
8) Govern just as corruptly as the others
9) ???
10) Profit
Well 5 - 10 was my own plan but you can adapt it to fit your situation.

Probably the best thing to do is whenever you hear her complain about something related to a Bush plan or program, you could simply point out that you voted for the other guy.

Don't be absurd. She has a right as an American citizen to vote for anyone she feels is qualified for the job. Perhaps she is sorry for her vote since Bush made many mistakes, especially in choosing the wrong people for his cabinet and advisers. My son doesn't speak to me and he is still in my will.

Typical Dem, anyone who doesn't agree with you, throw them under the bus and leave them for dead. You can't even respect your own daughter having a different opinion.

Accept her differences and be happy she can make her own decisions. My parents don't always agree with me but they respect my views. That will make your daughter a strong individual. She is standing up for her convictions, isn't that what you want in a child?

WHAT!? She isn't necessarily doing it to insult you, ya know. She just might have a different world view.
I can't believe this, do you want your daughter to be a drone who doesn't think for herself and always agrees with your opinions?
Note: I'm a democrat.

That would be a bit dumb over something so silly. You should respect your daughter has her own opinions and ahs her reasons. unless you want your daughter to remember you as silly when you die!
