You'll find a good mix of both classic rock and R and B, on just about every classic album by the band "Chicago" from the seventies. "Chicago" had some good rockers like "25 or 6 to 4" , "Feeling Stronger Everyday", and "Old Days"; and good R and B with songs like "Alive Again", "Free", and "Beginnings". Grand Funk Railroad also did a good mix of both styles with rockers like "Were An American Band", and soul like "Some Kind Of Wonderful".

Thousands... even a few that cross the barrier between the two genres, like Here I Go Again by Mario. It's a very wide category. get a Best of RnB or an Alternative Album 2007 or something

I know several good rock songs, but I don't have all night to name them. How about Suzie Q- by Creedence Clearwater Revival
