Abnormalities can be normal. My friends and I have had many over the years. A woman's body goes through changes and gets stressed at times. Please see a doctor.

Hi Joanna,

Yes, I have my menstrual period every two weeks and no gynaecologist or doctor as of yet has figured out why. I know that stress and thyroid problems as well as probably several other thing can cause a change in your menstrual cycle. Have you gone to a gynaecologist or talked to your doctor yet? If you don't get answers search out other professional options.

I had the problem of having my menstrual cycle come every 2 weeks or so. It was a real pain. If it's problematic for you, you should go to your doctor and ask him/her about the option of birth control. Brith control pills would help regular your hormones and make your periods predictable and normal.

Im confused by the questions but I think you mean getting two periods back to back. If that happens, make sure yournt pregant. If you arent then ask your doctor to check for cyst or thyroids. They can cause periods to do weird things including coming late, early or not at all.

No, but you can have breakthrough bleeding (sometimes caused by hormone fluctuations) and bleed which is kind of like a period in a way. You can also have spotting due to ovulation and some women experience bleeding around the time an embryo implants in their uterus. I suggest talking to your doctor if you continue to have bleeding like this or if it is severe in nature.

if you mean had it for 2 weeks..then yes I have had mine ever since i started for 11-14 days..it sucks..and if you mean every two weeks I have had it a few times where i had it and then like 2-3 weeks had it again...i also had a friend who had it for 3 weeks and didnt for one week and she went to her doctor for it and they gave her birth control ..now she has it for 5-7 days and once a month..so you might want to see your doctor about what yo can do for it.

no i haven't but i know that bleeding is not normal. there is always a reason. when you bleed vaginally, your body is trying to remove something. periods are to remove excess not used for (reproducing ) so if you're bleeding to much or too long maybe your body is trying to remove something else. possibly fibroids, cysts, etc. you should have it checked asap
