I was taking a piano lesson at my home (I was 8 years old) and my baby brother, who was in kindergarten, was home sick with the mumps. I was learning a new piece and was having some difficulty with it. Patrick slipped in quietly and slipped a little piece of yellow scratch paper onto the top of the piano (right in sight). He had drawn me at the piano and underneath he wrote, you can do it anne. Form (sp) Pat
I still have that note and have since framed it! My baby brother passed away at the age of 41, two and a half years ago. It brings a smile to my face, seeing that note from him everytime I pass it!

I remember going to my papas summer house with him up in the country hills. We would sit outside till the sun had gone down, and then just sit there and listen to sound of whooporwills, and the baying of coyotes. I miss those days! Makes me smile everytime.

Sorry for such a boring answer, but just about my whole past is worth remembering--even the bad parts because I survived them.
But I would say my Mother's baking--cakes, cookies, pies, but mostly her home made bread.

One of my most special memories is of the last Christmas Present my dad bought me. I mean the last gift. He passed away almost 30 years ago and it just stays fresh in my mind.

Playing with my kids and being goofy, chase them around the house hearing them giggle and squeal. They grow up too fast it seems.
