what would you do if you suspect that your husband only married you so that he could have kids and be a father, and then after you get married you find out that you can't have children? What would you do? Have kids to keep the man, or let him leave you and start all over again?

First off, the fact that you have to ask that is troubling. If that is the truth and he only married you to have kids, that doesn't really make sense to begin with but it's no reason to stay married. But first, I would suggest talking to him about it and opening up and letting the way you feel be known.

That don't even make sense. If he didn't have any feelings for you he wouldn't have married you. Kids where just one of the reasons he married you. He obviously wanted you to have his kids. Other wise he could have married anyone. Then there's the question of how long have you known you can't have kids, did you just find out or have you known for a while. You should have been up front before you married him about the kid problem, if you just found out then you need to tell him now, there are other options you both can try. Don't assume that's the only reason he married you.

what? I'm sure that is not the only reason he would marry you. If the man loves you he will stay even if you can't have kids. It would be disappointing to find out you can't have kids but not the end of the world.

You can't have children as in you have a disorder or something? Or is it against your religion.

I think children are amazing. Some men love kids but do not want to take the responsibility of taking care of it.

If you do not want to have kids, consider adoption.

Marrying something is very sacred. Divorce right after marriage is inhumane.

In this case, you need to talk with him first, before jumping to any silly conclusions. If you just found out that you have fertility issues, it can be a very difficult thing for a spouse to handle -- especially if he has always wanted to have children. Don't assume things, though. Just because he wants kids doesn't mean that he doesn't want you if you can't provide them. There are other options -- have you considered adoption, for example?

Adopt Children Both should seek advise from a doctor, have discussions on how to remedy this situation and come to a mutual understanding if you both are truly in love with one another. Marie V
