I'm planning on washing the ceiling, and the only idea I have come up with is using a sponge-mop so far. Anyone have any other ideas to make this easier?

they sell brushes at the hardware store that screw on the end of a broom handle. it worked better than the scrubber on the mop head. i have done my ceilings with them for cleaning before painting. i did use a sponge mop for the rinsing, though. just another idea, hope it helps, good luck. p.s. wear goggles so that you don't get soap in your eyes when the water drips.

Paint the ceiling. Unless there are huge gobs of goop hanging off the ceiling, I'd definitely paint it. If it is nasty, clean off the nasty parts with your sponge mop. Get the ceiling down to the plaster/drywall. Purchase some good ceiling paint (usually it is white), and plan on painting two good coats on the ceiling. Give yourself time and it will be great!! If you lived closer, I'd help you!

I agree with you on the sponge mop that was my first guess, unless you have a giraffe that can wash ceilings

Yes !!!! If you have QVC programming in your area - go there- use Don Aslett as keyword... I have several of his products.. He has a mop w/micro fiber pad for floors. I have used this for floor and walls. Is great. You can also go to his website..........

Yeah, hire someone else to do it. It is going to be a helluva chore, I am sure.
