To me, it is when a man respects a woman. I can think now that there was something my husband did that made me feel his love for me. I know to others it may not mean much, but I was on my way out of my house, it was raining hard outside. My husband told me to wait inside. He walked outside, unlocked the doors and turned on the car for me and drove it up as close to the door as possible. He came in, gave me a kiss and told me to drive carefully. Small things count! I feel respected and trusted. Feeling like we still can do our interests and we don't have to do everything together helps keep our sense of identities separate. In other words giving each other space and of course also spending time together but not all the time. Many people's own identity get lost in a marriage and then there is resentment. For me, that is how I feel satisfied in my marriage because of these things that are given and they don't cost any money : )
