Experience as Secretary won't help you get a job in Montreal. Or try to add some accounting qualification so that you can become a clark. To start with you may have to start with a low profile job like clerk, after exposed to Canadian conditions, you can switch to a better job.

Engineering qualification is always preferred by recruiters. Do an Engg course after reaching Quebec.

I think you are trying for a Canadian Visa. Best of Luck. If you have any relatives or friends in Canada, check up with them.

You should learn french. I've lived here forever, went to both french and english schools. Believe me, there is more racism from the anglos toward the french then the other way around. If you stick to the west island, all you'll see is anglos.

nothing much unless youre perfectly bilingual and preferably have a french sounding name like Gervais, Levesque or Boisvert. (I'm serious, I grew up there, and moved when I was 21 because it was horribly rascist against anglophones) I think it's a great place to visit but terrible to live (if youre anglophone)
