Everyone has such a weird view of it. It appears that nieve perceptions of what love is have replaced real love. Tell me what you think it is and give an example.

Love for a family member is there from when you are born and just grows to an incredible amount.

Love for someone other than a family member, like a partner is something that starts from nothing and gradually grows more and more each day until it is unbearable to be apart, or your happiest when you are with them and feel they make your life complete, someone you would happily give your life for in order for them to be happy.

There are many different kinds of love. There is the butterflies-in-the-stomach kind you get in a new relationship, then ther is the kind you feel for your family, then there is the love that is an act of your will. When my wife cheated on me,I brought her breakfast in bed the next day.I really wanted to slap her and ask her how she could do this to me! What I'm getting at is this....I can not always control my feelings, but I can control what I do.If I keep doing loving things for her,the feelings will return. My wife passed away 3 years later, but our love was stronger than ever !!!

I don't believe people "fall in love" I believe people grow to love.

To me, love is when my husband sits with me during chemotherapy and tells me that it doesn't matter how much in medical bills we're going to be paying for the rest of our lives (I'm only 25) that we're going to get through this.

Real love is when I know I have to keep fighting no matter how sick I feel or how tired I am, simply because I know I need to be here for my lil boy.

Real love is selfless.

I don't think I knew what real love was until I had my first child. i looked at him and loved him more than life itself. I would give my life for him. Love is something you can't see, yet it's more real than you or me.

I don't know, can you tell me? Can anyone out there tell me? I don't know, I don't know. It is a lot of different things and to hard to describe and has to many feelings and thoughts and needs in it to explain it fairly.
