The person who gave me the gift does not have the receipt. I need some advice. Thanks.

you MUST have the reciept since you want a different model, unless it is unopened, then you might get lucky and they might let you pay the difference, but if you opened it all they will do is let you get another of the same model.

If I remember correctly Wal-mart does a 2 or 3 time return without receipt. Now Target, you just need your credit card you bought it on and no receipt. I know people that buy stuff on sale super cheap then go to Walmart and make a quick $25. I would never do this of course.
But call the Walmart electronic department to make sure, or the customer returns.
