I didn't ask about VISA. Please read my question again.
And I don't think I need Visa to go both countries. Thanks anyway.

Sakina R: Thanks!! That gives me an idea for my budget. I just want to be around at the beach. And want to relax with spa or massage. Also I like to be in a hotel which has indoor swimming pool.

Thanks.

the ad may be tempting but waits til you come and experience the real things personally ! your question are quite general but i am trying to provide the best possible details.

you like beaches [ but why wanted an indoor swiming pool ? ], there are many beautiful islands around Malaysia with white sandy beaches n crystal clear water, but some parts of Malaysia are under the year end monsoon with heavy rain [ plus floods ] especially the east coast where many of the more stunning islands are located ! if possible try to plan your holidays from March onward.

please try [ www.cuti.com.my / www.island.com.my / www.travel.com.my ] for your dreamed holidays !

Many of our 5 stars hotels/resorts do have indoor swiming pools/spa/jacuzzi to suit you !

if you are looking for advantures, greenery, tropical rainforest n wilderness then try our National Park in Kuala Tahan and a few more in the state of Sarawak !

for cold mountain retreat, get to Genting Highland [ with Malaysia only casino ], Cameron Highland, Fraser Hill etc.

just as 'sakina r' mentioned, there are simply too much delicious foods available here, just pick your choice. i suggest you try sampling some local delicacy instead of those fast food, no point of coming all the way and just getting KFC, right ?

just do any things/activities as you like except against the law ! with two weeks to spare, you can go diving/snorkeling/island hopping at those islands, sight seeing within city, jungle trekking, shopping etc etc !

you may email me if you are after any specific info about Malaysia ! Cheer !

There are many many good places to be at in Malaysia.
Some places which attract many tourists include but are not limited to: Taman Negara, Pulau Redang, Pulau Pinang, Cameron Highlands, Malacca, Kuala Lumpur (the capital!) and Kota Kinabalu.

For around 70 USD, you'll be able to put up a night at a 5 star hotel. And as for cheap budget hotels, you can stay the night for as little as 15 USD. It all depends on your budget. You can get a decent meal, drink and dessert included for less than 5 USD. Once again, it all depends on your budget as you can easily have a vegetarian banana leaf lunch that comes with a drink for a less than a dollar and a half.

Food is nothing to worry about in Malaysia. Stick to 'cooked when ordered' meals and your stomach will be fine. Choices here are limitless. Whether you're a vegetarian or someone on the atkins diet, you'll be able to find a meal that's suited for you that's Chinese, Malay, Indian, Western or even Middle-Eastern!

It's best to read up a little before coming to a country. Know what your interests are and do some research on what activities you may partake in that will interest you. There's not point in going to the National Mosque, the Batu Caves or any other place of worship if religion, culture and spirituality do not interest you and you're only here for the nightlife : s

Sorry if my answer isn't very good but I suggest you come up with more specific questions!

Malaysia and Singapore border each other so try and get to either destination based on the cheaper. Consider spending a little time in singapore as well as Malaysia. There are lots of places to visit in Malaysia and Singapore.....

I don't know the type of passport you have but if you have a USA or European passport, travel to either country is not difficult. If not do some research on getting a visa.
