I have 5 workshirts with RTV industrial #310 (boss) silicone sealent on them. I want to get it out without damaging the 50% cotton/polyester blend shirts. It's waterproof. Suggestions/experience?

Nearly or impossible. That RTV Silicone combines with moisture in the air and a chemical reaction takes place between the moisture in air and the silicone. Furthermore, that silicone RTV is resistant to nearly all solvents and cleaning solutions so you are stuck with it.

Id try a little fatty acid on it like a butter or olive oil and work it in there. Repeated washings over a long time tend to mechanically wear it down and it falls off some of it at least.

How To Remove Rtv Silicone

The best thing I've found to remove RTV from my work clothes is time.

Just wait it out. After a few washings it may begin to loosen up and you can just pick at it and peel it off.

Otherwise you're pretty much stuck with it (no pun intended)
That stuff just doesn't come off of clothes easily.
I always had a bad habit of wiping my hands on my work clothes but I've gotten better about keeping LOTS of rags handy. When I use the stuff, I constantly wipe off excess RTV and try to be more careful about not getting it anywhere I don't want it.

That crap seems to have a sneaky habit of ending up in places where you have no idea how the heck it got there too :)
Luckily our company started supplying uniforms 2 years ago so now getting my clothes slimey isn't such a big deal anymore.

Good Luck
