I love the show. In fact my husband and I love it so much that we named our only child CAILLOU! We watched that show while I was pregnant, and fell in love with the show. Yes he can be a brat, but what child isn't at some time in thier life? To all those who BAN thier children from watching Caillou, what's wrong with you? Ther is NO VIOLENCE, NO BAD LANGUAGE, and one of the most wholesome cartoons I've seen. My son is almost 3 years old and loves the show. He has lots of movies, books, stuffed dolls etc. all Caillou themed. How many kids can say that they have thier own line of merchandise? So my final thought to all of you who don't like CAILLOU, there are a lot of worse things your children can watch on t.v.

We've got the name part covered when he's older. He goes by Cai or C.J. Or by his middle name Jacob. He has plenty of options.

That may just be one of the worst names I've ever heard of for an actual living person. What happens when he's in high school and all the kids who used to watch the cartoon laugh when his name gets called during roll call?

Caillou's the cartoon is actually a good show, though... I watch it with my little niece, and I'll probably watch it with my own kid when he (or she?) comes. I probably wouldn't name it after a cartoon, though.

Why do youthful writers seem to think of that all and sundry seems to hate youthful writers? Is it the insecurities surrounding interest searching for young babies with a shaky grip on grammar and fondness for Mary Sues and somewhat cliched thoughts? Is it yet another attempt to play the age-card and scream discrimination while they are advised some thing they did no longer prefer to pay attention? Who is familiar with. the only element lacking right here, i'm afraid, is a sprint attitude. people who hate new writers are new writers themselves.

You're a horrible parent and obviously hate your son. He probably will have no friends soon and always get made fun of. That show is horrible and is horrible for children.

i agree with you. i have a little sister and i watch it with her all the time. it's not a bad show... it teaches kids that being a brat doesn't mean your going to get your way all the time. all children shows are great for kids.. even though in our eyes, it seems ridiculous.

I can't stand Caillou. I made sure it got turned off if I was around. That damn kid is always pissing and moaning, and the adults around him are always coddling him. Grow some freakin' nuts, kid.

I have not seen anything wrong with the show. It's one of the few childrens' shows that I enjoy watching.
