Fullmetal Alchemist and Basilisk I would say are 2 of the best animes ever! =D
I would recommend watching them to anyone.

Akira hands down. Made in 1980 and is still the best Anime film ever made.

FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST, FLCL, Bleach, Hikaru no Go, Mar, The Prince of Tennis, Inuyasha. That's all of my faves. But the best is of course be FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST!!

F.M.A.(Fullmetal Alchemist) and N.G.E. (Neon Genisis Evangelion) are the best but fruit baskets is pretty good too also trigun is pretty sweet well F.M.A and N.G.E. are the best
