To be very honest it purely depends on the skill of the rider, more than the bike.

I have seen on TV for a fact, that they do exist, some crazy inventors made them. The big question is - for what???
You will need really long training time ,and also it's impossible to ride fast with those.

there are motorized one wheel bikes out there so answer yes...its the weirdest design but it works.

Yes...the monowheel. They are a blast to drive...in a straight line. It does take some getting used to and it's not something everyone should try. You should find this site interesting...

I have seen them even with v8 engine powered but I've never seen one in action.
