I'm not just talking about singing, also the style of the person and music videos. To me it's David Bowie, his singing changed with the times and so did his singing.

Wow, I LOVE Bowie. For most creative and artistic, I would have to go with Paul Simon. Brilliant musically and lyrically. McCartney's a great one too, but in the end for me it's Simon. Such great talent.

I think Madonna is the best at changing with the times/trends. However, I don't really consider her to be an "artist" type. For me, I guess I'll have to go with Dylan...only because he was creative enough to trick everyone in the world into thinking he could do more than croak.
