Definitely NOT the Golden Compass - that movie is about some kids who kill God - it's horrible. Some good ones out there are Fred Clause and August Rush - not too many good ones out there for kids or at all really. I Am Legend is a little on the scary side and may be a little intense for a 14 year old. Even my husband and I decided against seeing it - lol.

The Departed is a good one, but if you are into comedy, you may want to consider Happy feet. Pan's Lbyrinth? Children of Men? Apocalypto? The Queen?

I dont know what genre you prefer but if you want a clean movie that is good, go and see "The Pursuit of Happyness"

The pursuit of Happyness, i saw the film and man it touches you in the heart, i think its will smiths best role yet...go see it, you wont be disappointed.
