I heard rumors about it but in an interview, Mike Shinoda just has some solo projects as of now. But then again, I haven't heard news about a new album. If that's true then it's going to make me really sad! :(

They havent split, Mike Shinoda, wanted to get back to his rap roots, and made Fort Minor. FM is a side project and thats it. Just a side project. Linkin Park is coming out with a new album in the next month or so.

That's completely false. I'm a member of their official fan club and at the moment they are in the studio, narrowing down the list of songs to put on their new album, to be released soon, with a title that starts T___ and T____. Joe has been working on films, Mike has been working on a side-project with Fort Minor and Chester has been working with the guys from Orgy, but they are very much still together as a band. In fact, Chester has put his solo record's release on hold in order to focus on the LP stuff.

They haven't split, they're putting the finishing touches on their next CD, which should be released around May or June of this year. Also, they're gonna be playing the Bamboozle festival in New Jersey in May, and a few overseas dates, and also they say they really wanna do a Projekt Revolution tour this year.

Yeah they did it came out on mtv awhile back..Mike shinoda formed Fort Minor, while the rest serve as dj's..I know when i found out i was like damn that sucks....but i hear in june linkin park will make a tribute cd, and thats it
