i m an electronics engg. i want to know how can i resore my data from a computer whose IP adress i know but it is not connected to server. so i want to shere my data from that computer what should i do.?

This is a difficult one to answer without knowing exaclty how the domains or workgroups are set up. if you are on the same network with the desired computer and you share the same IP range and subnet like 192.168.1.xxx and your subnets are the same 255.255.255.0 you should be able to open the command prompt and ping what ever IP you are looking for. if you get a reply, open my computer and type in
\\192.168.1.xxx or what ever the computers IP is and it should open right up. now if file sharing or private access is enabled not to include firewalls and such you are going to have a long day..... email me your info and i will try to help as much as i can
