Hi! I have a few fur coats and jackets and I was wondering how to wash it without having the fur look messed up. Does dry cleaning help? The last time I washed it, it got all poofy and smooshed together! =(

yeah leave it to the professionals, get it dry cleaned Hun.

(i hope it's not real fur though)

don't whatever you do, wash it with your every day laundry suds this will only destroy them.

wash if you insist on doing it yourself with a tiny amount of wool wash then rinse out completely.
and here's a little trick to give it shine and rid of that fluffiness, use a little of your own conditioner (yes the stuff you use on your head...) and as it's drying comb with an Afro comb i.e wide tooth comb.
you can use the cold dry on your hair dryer if your hair dryer has the ability to let you chose between hot or cold air (never use heat) and don't hold the hair dryer too close, even though your blowing cold you still cause static which destroy the fibres.

Go to a dry cleaner that specializes in cleaning fur. Check the yellow pages or similar listings. It is a specialty. Let a professional do it.

Furcoats need professional care. Always take them to the dry cleaner.
