I came across a couple Xeon Processors that was in a server I purchased on ebay.Usually they say on the front of the processor Intel Xeon and the size and such on the back but this one is different.Is says Intel Confidential on both chips.Can anyone tell me what this means and what the difference might be with them??Thanks

not only sounds like --- it is a pre-release chip.

you can easily find out what type of Xeon it is.
run the program CPU-Z on that machine with the unknown processor. the program is free and available here

Confidential usually means engineering chips. The ones sent out for testing purposes, like to tomshardware and other reviewers.
