PC is more popular, used by more people, has more software for it, but it also has more attacks.

Mac is less popular, but it has less attacks, so you don't have to be constantly watching your back. You don't need to install as much virus, spyware, adware, etc. programs as you would on a PC.

PC is probably the best for school because it's probably preferred over Mac by schools, and you have more programs that can help you with homework and stuff.

I have owned a Mac since the first iMacs came out and have never regreted it. Last year I had to buy a labtop for school and couldn't afford a mac and had to get a dell and it SUCKS!!!!
Once you go Mac you never go back. They are just so much more efficient and have so many things that PC's don't have. I'm pretty sure PC's have some sort of redeeming factor but none that are worth it. Get the MAC

After the release of Windows vista 2 days ago a pc is a must have and if you buy it from best buy you get a free upgrade but if you want a nice laptop pick up the MX6453 model it has the fastest processor and runs at a good price (know you said money don't matter but its still good to know you get the best hardware for the least amount of money) and if you want a nice home computer pick up dells new XPS 710 H or C

I think the MAC is a much more smoothly running machine and you get better quality and support with the product overall. For school, it might be easier to have WIndows, but a MAC can have that, too.

Im in college and I havent seen a single mac laptop in any of my classes. If you want to fit in I'd suggest a pc. This may also come in handy because most schools computers use pcs so it'd be best to be able to use the same software you use at school, at home. I have a hewlett packard dv5000z, works great and looks cool. I'd recommend it if your not a hardcore gamer and just need it for school.

Mac! Dosn't get viruses, has a built in web cam, runs anything a pc can run, and looks cooler! Everyone I know that has a Mac loves it! None of them would go back to a pc after owning a mac.

PC because it was the origin of the Mac. supid macs........Well, PC started it and the macs dont have a right click on mouse which makes it harder wat to do. If your a teen go for a mac since they are sort of like cheaper in quality but when you are older and get a job get a nice PC($1000-$5000)

It all depends on what your looking for. PC has more and different programs that run on it, but mac has some really handy and unique ones.
