i lost my sprint cell phone. i am having difficulty getting an affordable replacement without a plan on line?

Well I guess you did not have insurance. Make sure to call in to the police and report it lost, so whoever has it can not use it at Sprint.

But then you want to get a replacement without getting a plan. I do not understand.

Without a plan your only option is a Prepaid phone. They start as low as 20 dollars or less. With Sprint buying a phone is terribly expensive, a phone they offer for free with a plan can cost as much as 300 bucks.
