No to a national one and i doubt a cali one either.

What more likely will happen is an expansion of existing government healthcare ( medicare medicaid etc.. ) to cover other groups.

People want universal health care and then really complain when their taxes are increased.

No way and it shouldn't. I personally will fight a government funded univeral health care all the way to the very end.
