I've seen this happen before in the AMI Bios. It turned out to be the cpu fan. cpu got to hot.

another could be an error with the memory. conflicting memory is a possibility after trying to upgrade, for an example, if you have one 128 dram and 256 dram (or sdram) and your setting a bunch of things (memory being one of them) in Bios, then it could freeze. another example is over time the computer will freeze because of this hardware conflict, mabey it's coiencedential.

try having only 1 stick of ram in simm or dimm 0 or 1 (which ever comes first)

try the other stick of ram

last resort.. check your cpu fan!! that can freeze things if it gets to hot, change cpu, then change board, it might be dead.

what did you change? if youre trying to overclock maybe its because you overclocked it too high
