FIRST !! be the BEST person within... This will make you the most beautiful person EVER !! Second, I recommend going to Toni and Guy to get your hair styled and cut. ( I've never had a problem with them.) They always cut it with what looks better with your face. This will make you feel more confident about yourself. As for makeup, Try the Bare Essentials kit!! I LOVE IT !! It's like you're not wearing anything but it gives you perfect looking skin. It's kind of expensive but it lasts a long time. Don't forget to wear mascara it makes your eyes perk up!! and just a DAB of tinted lip gloss

You're already beautiful. You just don't know it. But, if you're looking for a makeover, make an appt at a nice salon. They can give you a updated hairstyle, wax your eyebrows, and do your makeup. If they don't do makeup there, head to your local dept store. Someone in the cosmetic area can help you with a makeover. For fashion tips, get a women's magazine and study the clothing that the woman are wearing. Cut out those styles that you like and make a trip to the store to find clothing that look similar. Just be sure that you don't lose yourself in this process. I understand your desire to look pretty, but I think being confident in who you already are is more important. I agree, You dont have to be born pretty, yes make up is over-rated and dont try face surgery. The secret is to put on light bluch or cover up to cover the big blemishes up but not 2 much or like another girl said you will end up looking worse then before. A little mascara here and there couldn''t hurt and go shopping for things that say, latest trends not some granny pants. But I bet you really are pretty. probably beautiful, the prblem is you dont belive that and it takes a strong gorgeuous woman to know that not some white trash pounds-o-make up freak and or some girl who is related to Paris Hilton wannabee. Just remember that you are beautiful and if anyone tells you you are not then you just know they are jelous of you and would kill to be in your shoes. Live, Laugh, Love.

good question. answer - genetics. although there are other acceptable ways i cannot share because it is something we all have to find out for ourselves. Read tons of magazines.

No you cannot say that because some girls wear pounds of makeup and still look ugly. Gosh.. you just need to have the sense of style/makeup/fashion thats all. You'll eventually get there.

try whitening your teeth...make sure you have clear skin...get a new hair style...you dont need to where alot of make up to look pretty, just put a little on. Just experiment with different kinds of styles and see which one you get the most attention in. Maybe get some fake eye lashes

You most definitely don't have to be "born pretty." I think that confidence is really key. You need to believe that you are pretty. Make-up is over-rated.
