Basically what I'm doing is that I'm giving him a memory box with some stuff I put together for him. I also made him a really nice card with a heartfelt poem that I wrote. I made him a poem book with pictures I have taken as well. : } I'm doing all this stuff because Valentine's is our first anniversary. ♥

Well, I found this great website that has a lot of ideas that people sent in. A lot of great ideas... cheap, creative, sweet. So if you need ideas, here ya go:

It helped me come up with some ideas and stuff.
Check it out!

(-: There's still time to get pregnant -- that'd really wow him! Or maybe knock him over onto the floor . . . .

Seriously, a lot of guys don't get into Valentine's Day that much. Does he have a hobby? If it's woodworking, dress up in his tool belt and little else, and meet him at the door with a two-by-four. If he's into tennis, make a cute little tennis dress out of crepe-paper, and see what he does. Something that combines his favorite hobby and Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue will probably catch his attention.

You could also declare Feb. "Love Month" and just do a lot of little things -- sweet notes in the lunch box, candles at every meal, a few flowers by the bed, and a box of 56 chocolates -- you each get one every night.

Good luck with the wowing!

Yes. A lunch date with YOU! - forget home for now - and dream.
You pay for the lunch - perhaps on a Saturday afternoon.

Make him a card - ok, you may cheat by going to the card section of the store and get great ideas. Guys don't admit it but they never get "handmade" cards - just for them.

Get him a small present - yes very small - like candy - you know those little hearts with those "sayings" on them like 'kiss me', etc.

Ask him to dress up - and take him to a nice restaurant but make sure it's a place where the two of you will be comfortable.

Now - for you - Show up wearing that spectacular dress that you look - so great, fine and awesome in.
Wear those net stockings, nice jewlery, nice earrrings, and great perfume (if you can get pheromone - which has a different scent on everyone).
Do your nails and makeup - again you will look so fine!

Don't tell him where you're going - unless he's the kind that has to know.

Send him an electronic email card -
free electronic cards - www.123greetings.com - or other site.
- and write your invitation to the lunch with his special girl
as you personalize this electronic greeting card.

HE WILL REMEMBER THIS FOR THE REST OF HIS LIFE.
You will be described as "AMAZING" and be remembered by him "and to his friends as he will brag about what you did for him for the rest of your life. His friends will be jealous if their "girls" don't do anything special.

GOD bless us one and all, always.

Last year, for my fiancee, I purchased a white cardboard box with a lid from the Container Store. I printed a bunch of black and white pictures of our years together on regular paper from our printer. I cut them out and decopaged them to the box. I just used a little elmer's glue that I diluted slightly with water (nothing fancy) and painted them on with a paint brush. Little glue on the box and then painted over the pictures. It dried clear and I was left with a really cool looking box. Inside the box, I cut out about 100 hearts out of paper and wrote a different reason on each heart why I love him. It cost just about 10.00 bucks and he loved it. It was romantic without being too girlie.

Do something for him that you know he really loves. Like cook his absolute favorite meal and wear whatever outfit he likes best on you. Mabe rent his favorite movie or play his favorite music. The important thing he'll notice is how much you tried to make him happy with all his favorite things. He'll know how much you love him because you know so much about him.

Cook his favorite dinner and when he comes in have the candles lit and the music playing. Lay out a big blanket in the living room with wine and lots of pillows and have fun feeding each other dessert before you make him your dessert.
