I did my research and found out that you only need high school to be a computer engineer. Does anyone know what I have to do to find a job as a computer engineer? I don't want to waste my time in college studying that subject when I could just get training and work experience. I'd rather study to become a physician in college and work as a computer engineer while I work my way to finding a career as a physician. Here's the site for what I found

Any advice?

Believe me, they don't teach any computer engineering classes in high school.

Have you taken
Computer Architecture?
Real Time Systems?
Operating Systems?
Programming Languages?
Compiler design and construction?

Let's see, a company has a choice between an engineer with 4 years training in complex sophisticated sciences or some guy who figures he can just get training (where ?) . . .
OK, HR . . . who are you going to hire ?
Actually, if you don't mind working for about $10 / hr, sure, I'm sure some guy will hire you to do something , but a real company paying engineer wages ?

Hahahahahahahahahahahah
OK, you did it, you made me fall out my chair laughing,
Shame on you
Hahahahahahahahahah, ouch !

You'll make more money and be more likely to be hired with a college degree.
