holy cow, i have no idea. i thought you needed red water to look like blood or something. i was gonna say to use food coloring or juice or those kids bath fizzies. science? no freakin idea man. what is raw material anyway? all i can think of is uncooked steak...

Try adding sodium chloride. Actually a light purple.
