The first time I got waxed, I broke out in a slight sweat. It did hurt, but after it was all done, I have to say it wasn't that bad and worth it. The problem is finding someone who is good at it! Other factors to consider is how thick/coarse your hair is. For your first time, it will hurt more than the next ~ second or 3rd. Reason being is that the hair follicle breaks down and grows back weaker, and so on. If the outcome is something you like...I highly recommend keeping up with the waxing as a maintenance thing. Do not wait until you have a full bush to re-wax...the pain will be just as bad, if not worse than that first time. Wax as soon as you see your hair growing back, but do remember that the wax does need something to grasp on to, to be pulled out.
You can always stop the clinician if the pain is unbearable!
I haven't shaved in years, and believe me, I do not itch anymore like I used to when the hair grows back.....you will however still get them pesky lil ingrowns...that's why it is extremely important to buy a mild exfoliating gel to get rid of any dead skin and impurities that cause ingrowns.
In comparison to shaving....I'd wax any day!!!

I never did but i am from Rio and the girls there do it a lot...Here in NY there is a place that you can find on the Village Voice newspaper that charges $15 for the Brazilian wax. I never did it but will do it soon... I itch too much when i shave, but love the smoothness and cleanliness i get from not having hair down there. About the embarrassment, just keep in mind that most women pay to get waxing so i think that should make you feel better. Have fun...beijos

I've only done the regular waxing...even that made me clench my fists and break out in a cold sweat. If you go for a brazilian, do it w/ a person you know/trust/ have been going to for a long time.

The first time it's just fright, after that you start to realize that it really doesn't hurt. Make sure you get someone who is "skilled" at this. It takes about 15 strips if you have coarse hair, I don't know if it's less for fine hair. Good Luck!

I am shaving my wife down there from last 10 yrs. I do it once in
3 days . I go for a 'Landing strip' or 'Bald' depending on the mood.
After shaving I apply Aloe Vera Gel to her vaginal area, massage it until it is absorbed. She never had ingrown hair problem.
I use hair remover cream on her legs, arms, underarms.

i imagine legs harm more desirable then palms, && as for shaving cream or hair elimination, i exploit shaving cream and performance under no circumstances had a difficulty, purchase both and attempt to work out what works precise for you theres no damage, any underarm waxing doesnt harm a lot, its only one rip.
