I'm pretty sure its not a hardware problem as the day before they where not there my sister was the only one on the day it appeared and said it wasn't there when she was on they see to cover text and images i can read/see them its just really annoying.they go all the way across the screen and are darker with darker images or when they overlap each other never seen this before it was working fine up until my sister got off the computer and shut it down when i turned it back on they where there could this be some effect of a virus/other program?

im pretty sure it is not the video card as she most likely would have noticed it it was only of for a brief 10-15 minutes any hardware would have had to have showed signs of this before hand 10-15 minutes is not enough time for it to just appear like this..

its not there when the computer loads up either its only there when windows goes to the login screen...anything white/bright seems to not be affected by it

They just don't bother to or have the knowledge to make a real avatar, so they use the default image. I am also Leary of anyone that has less than 1000 points and their account is like 1-3 months old. That means that they could be a Troll or have multi-accounts.

I think your horizontal synchronizer is not working properly. You may contact good service engineer it will be better. Because to open the monitor is very dangerous. In that there is capacitor with 25000 volts. If you just touched that i will make you into serious condition.

if you have an second computer in ther house, hook the monitor up to it and see if you have the same problem, and find out if it really is your monitor.
it is one of 2 things, your monitor , or your video card

Try lowering your hardware acceleration level in your video card settings.

i had the same thing and it was my video card it got wost as time went on than i just got a new video card.

its monitor's problem get it repaired soon or u will have to replace the monitor
