The answer to your question is YES for camels of similar weight.

It is a myth that the hump contains Water. It is in fact Fat reserves to be used when food is scarce.

The water is actually stored in special sacks near the stomach (about 1.5 gallons for both types) and in the Camel's bloodstream, there blood being able to cope with more water than ours.

A camel will drink 20 - 30 Gallons in 10 - 15 minutes if very thirsty.

Humps DON'T contain water.They are a store of fat.
