First, which primary do you mean? There are many primaries in many of the states.

Certainly, Hillary will win several of the primaries. New York, to begin with. Since she is the US Senator from New York. But other states are not certain. And it will take more than a year before the first primaries are held, so many things may change over a year.

But, if you mean will Hillary win the nomination of the Democratic Party...that too is too far away to predict. Undoubtedly, there will be debates on the campaign trail, and it will be interesting to see if she can handle Obama and Edwards and others, since she will be the target of their opposition.

If she is nominated, (IF), then you can ask whether we think female Republicans will vote for her --(Republicans cannot vote in the state Democratic primaries. ) Nobody knows where the "female vote" will land , but I would venture a guess that it is impossible to say right now. There is no unified female position on issues, and on her qualifications, so there is no way to say whether females will vote for her---or anyone else.

So, it is going to be an interesting year.

I am a female Republican and I wouldn't vote for Hillary or any Democrat because I do not agree with their agendas and positions on many moral issues.
If there were a Rep. woman running, I would vote for the best candidate and not just for a woman. Race and sex are moot points.

Hillary, will win the big states, but when she starts campaginig in smaller western, and Midsection states she will be a turn off to people because of the previcied alooff, and elist type personalty she carries. Obama is her biggest theart, and Edwards could be the thron in Hillary. Obama most likely be vice president, but you never know Richardson could make Hillarys job to win in the west tough. Most likely we will have obligarhic canidate for the next run at the white house.

As of now- yes. But the Primaries are many months away- and alot WILL happen between then & now than could change the course of everything. Personally, I don't believe that any particular race, gender, or religious persuasion- qualifies ANYONE for public office. By the way, I have an idea- that the winner of those primaries you mentioned may NOT be ANY of the people currently running- & that THAT person could be our next president! Stay tuned... We'll see what happens. And WHATEVER does- PLEASE vote. Please???

I don't know... but I'm probably going with Edwards... he's more moderate... and I think he could steal some votes from Republicans, espeically if they go with a more liberal Rudy...

too many rasicts/sexist people out there... south would be lost immediately with Obama or Hillary and that's putting yourself in a hole really early in a race...

Edwards could put the south in play, being from the south, especially against a New yorker like Rudy...

if gore or kerry would have carried just one, maybe two southern states... they could have won it all..

No, she has been trying to position herself as a moderate, although she is not. Also she has been trying to prove she is tough on defense of the country, including voting for the war on Iraq. This puts her at odds with the left wing of the party, and make her vunerable to attack from the left. Hillary's attack machine will take out Obama because right now he is her biggest threat. The party will elect a socialist, anti-war appease the terrorist canidate who won't be electable.

No, neither would win plain and simple. Intelligent people don't generally vote for candidates based on race, ethnicity or gender. Voters want candidates that will do the will of the people to the best of their abilities. Illegal Aliens issues are going to give a whole lot of candidates a real headache, if Cingress drags their feet on the subject anymore, listening only to large Corporations that benefit from it. They will all be on the streets real soon. They are not addressing the issues at home and too many voters are hurting financially.

Tom Tancredo and John Ensign for 2008!

No. She will be an early frontrunner. She'll have more money to spend than any other candidate. But I don't think she'll go all the way because the dems know that she's not electable in the end

I'm a female Republican, and would never vote for her or any other woman who decided to run. No one who truly professed to be a Republican would vote for Clinton just because of that.

Frankly though, if anyone were to do so, it would be the irritatingly feminist liberal voters.

No. Don't bet on poll numbers or money earned. Remember Howard Dean's poll numbers and he had a MOUNTAIN of cash raised from grassroots website contributions?

Besides, Hillary will look like a dumb btich next to Obama in stump speeches.
