i too faced the same problem .i graduated in mechanical engineering and did my mba hoping that i will be recruited as soon as i leave the college with an mba degree.
but the thing was quite different i didnt find any job readyly waiting for me, after a long search i got job in an software company as finace manager.
the i started sending my resumes through friends to almost all good companies where there is requirement.
after a long search atlast i found a good job in mumbai.
MY SUGGESTION IS TO GET IN TO SMALL COMPANY USING ALL U R RESOURCES SUCH AS INTERNET,FRIENDS AND THEN LOOK FOR A BIG DEAL
my suggestion is try to climb the stairs from the first stair.
