I do not know, but I suggest you look at some Italian websites that have to do with dance, and also Google any tarantella schools or teachers.

The story behind Tarantella has two aspects, music and dancing. My piano teacher taught me the story because Tarantella is her favorite song. A long time ago in Italy as the other person said, there were many tarantula spiders, and when bitten, the people moved crazily, and if a person played the song, while the sick person or another person danced, it was said to cure the person. It was also said if you did the dance together while someone else played, it would ward off the spiders and protect the people so no one else was bitten. Hope that was informative :)

maybe a cultural center or look for Italian dances or dances of countries... some call it the scarf dance too i think. check the libraries... thats what i would do!
