Not going to happen.

You can't add RAM by deleting "things"

You can delete everything you want, you can format your hard drive if you want, you can do whatever you want, but if you don add physical memory RAM to that PC, you won't have memory.

NO, you cannot have more memory without putting the memory in it. - That's like wanting my car move without gasoline, or wanting a dog run like a horse.

There is virtual memory, that Windows uses anyway from space in your hard drive, but that is automatic and if you cannot run that game due to lack of memory, I don't care how much you stretch that virtual memory that game won't work still.

So the answer is no, you cannot have more memory without buying a card. - There was a time many years ago when people had little amount of memory we used software that would allow us to have "more" RAM, but that was acomplished by compressing the data in memory, and that just simply slows down the whole computer, because a slow CPU has to work more to compress and decompress that data in memory to give you the extra "more" RAM making the whole process worse than better.

Get your extra RAM, that's your way to go.

I hope this helped.

For 10 points, send me the model number of the computer and what you have put in it. i will get you running. Reason is there was this guy who gave me the 10, but good thing I told him. You see he had a dinosaur of a computer and the advice was for him to get a computer card, more memory, and etc. I told him that his was only good for getting on the internet and writing email. I told him that last time a 286 computer was used, was when Washington crossed the Delaware. lol

You see if your computer is too, old, it will not be able to handle the high speed graphics no matter what you put in it. Also, computers can only handle so much RAM too. Anything higher is a waste of money. Like buying 8 quarts of oil for your vehicle, but you can only put 5 quarts in.

You're confusing two different things: RAM and disk space.

The disk is where your files are stored long-term when you're not accessing them. You can free up disk space by deleting things.

RAM is where data and programs are temporarily stored when you're using them.

WoW requires a certain amount of disk space (6 gigabytes) in order to be installed on your computer. When you're playing it, it needs to utilize a certain amount of RAM in order to run effectively. And you'll need at least 512 MB of RAM to accomplish that. You'll have to buy a DIMM (a.k.a. a memory chip).

When I played WoW, I found that 512 MB was insufficient. Get at least 1024 MB.

as said before, not going to happen. Adding memory to your PC is one of the most bang for your buck mods you can do. Simply by upgrading to 512 or even 1024Mb you will instantly notice the improvment. If you are running that little of memory you may want to look into your video card as well. I forsee this being a problem you will be asking about next

No. By deleting programs and files, you're just freeing up hard drive space, not RAM. The RAM in your computer is always set unless you go buy additional memory.

No, it sounds like you have 3 128mb cards, you need to check to see of your motherboard can take larger cards (some of the earlier ones could not). If your mother board can take it I would recommend buying the largest it can take and filling the 3 slots.
The only way to do this for free is stealing, not worth the risk.

impossible, you cannot add ram by deleting programs off of your computer, your thinking of harddrive space, if you delete somethnig off of your computer it will increase the amount of free harddrive space you have available, with ram you just simply have to buy more ram

Yes, go down to your local puter store, and buy some more ram, then open the case and put it in the slot.. if you aren't sure how to do that, you can take it to the shop and have them do it.
