I am planning to buy a laptop and I have 2 options. One has GeForce Go 7600 and other has ATI mobility radeon x1400. I know Go 7600 has a seperate memory like 128Mb or 256Mb but I dont know if x1400 uses the main memory of computer or it also has its own memory. So which graphic card would you go with if u were me and why?Advantages and disadvantages?

Go with the GeForce Go 7600, it is easily better. Here is a comparison of the two, you can see under the "at a glance" section, the areas in bold show where the 7600 has the advantage. http://www.gpureview.com/show_cards.php?card1=452&card2=409

100% go with the 7600, it has many advantages over the x1400 and the 7600 has a better Core Clock, Memory Clock, Memory Bandwidth, Shader Operations, Pixel Fill Rate, Texture Fill Rate, Vertex Operations, Fragment Pipelines, Vertex Pipeline, Texture Units, Raster Operators, Memory type is newer and it has a higher frame buffer. that all may sound like spanish but the 7600 is much better

well i would go with the 7600 because it has its own memory and even if the radeon does have its own it cant be as much as the 7600 since it is built for mainly desktops. if you were going with a laptop i would go with the radeon

I just read your request, i am sure you have a good idea what your looking for, I would go for the ATI but if your looking for a $1000 video card in a LAPTOP forget it and if you want specification look them up yourself and you pick what you want, also PC-Hub is in Singapore and the cost of shipping to Thailand is cheap, so don't give me your hard luck story...

I've always liked ATI myself, the things just never seem to quit.
