these are all different rays, not the same ray with different names.

You should learn how to find the answer to these questions yourself. The method in this case is to make a T-chart. On one side put the number of points starting with 1 and on the other the number of rays. After you find the answer to the first few easier ones, you will be able to see a pattern and from the pattern, you should be able to come up with a formula.
