Its a remake of another movie that Louis Gossett was in "Lean on Me?", I think was the title. At any rate, the story of a motivator, against all odds person captures the minds of less ambitious children and creates the light bulb effect. And in the end, everyone cheers and the nay-sayers cry....We've seen this movie I'm sure many times over, just with different people. Do Oscar winners make the difference? Do they even motivate us to be all we can be once we leave the movie? Yeah, right! Spend your money on a less repetitive experience..
