The simple answer is until they are big enough. They need to be too big for the other fish to eat and then they should be fine.
By the way, it's fry both singular and plural. One baby is a fry, ten babies are 10 fry.....too many to count is a batch of fry LOL
:) Best of luck with them!

It depends on how many hiding spots they have in the tank.
I have a lot of hiding spots, so I usually keep them in the net for 2-3 weeks and then let them go into the general population. I don't have any predators in the tank except for hungry momma guppies that will eat anything that can fit in their mouths.

you will could use your individual judgement on that. The molly is the main important and could take the prospect to eat them. regularly 2 months while they are approximately 3/4 to a million inch long. purely have a great number of hiding spots for them.

At least a month, for mine at least they wound up too big for the adults to swallow. Just to be safe, make sure there's enough space in the main tank though, as well as lots of plant cover just in case. Keep in mind too, not all fry grow at the same rate, so they might be big enough before or later than one month.

you've had the right answer already, till they are big enough. the trick is to grow them quickly. frequent small water changes and several feedings a day (5-6 times) are the key to success. make sure you use a baby food intended to grow live bearer. its a fine powder but you really get results

Add them to your community tank when they are large enough not to be eaten. Use your good judgment.
