this is peerly my own opinion and experience. it's about even odds as far as men or women. when a girl...like myself... that feels left out of important decisions,or isnt getting the attention she feels she needs and is not feeling the love she feels she deserves, it is gonna force her to look... i have cheated before and i have also been faithful. it mostly boils down to...is everyone getting what they want? are they truly happy...or is it one sided...get in my email if you wanna further talk about this.

Because sexuality is so open now a days such as magazines showing half naked men and women. We get tempted. It's all bout sex.. ohh I wonder how he or she is in bed?? Or he/she so damn sexy I would love to get some of that. We will never stop being attracted to the opposite sex it's the temptation that we need to over come.
The true answer would be if we all were blind but that's not the case. We all look and fantasize but it's the one's who pursue it who don't have the respect for their mate or control.
I don't think there is anything one spouse can do to keep him/her from cheating. Everyone knows what's right and wrong. A spouse shouldn't have to do anything to keep the other from cheating. That's why we get married...it's stating I give unto you and you only. You give up everything (one nite stands meetin girsl n going out) once you get married.
Some just don't take as serious as others

People cheat for different reason. I say most people cheat because they are not being fulfilled in some way. Maybe they're just bored or they're taking the relationship for granted. I believe men use to cheat more than woman, but woman are catching up. Some people just need a challenge. No one wants someone they can push over. You have to keep the relationship interesting. The best answer to the question is: Why would YOU cheat on your spouse? Maybe that's the same reason they may cheat.

I think current statistics show women are cheating more then men. But this could be that women are reporting it more on research projects then men are. I don't know that there is a way to reduce the odds of a spouse cheating. I appreciate the curiousity, but makes me wonder if you are thinking about cheating or think your significant other is cheating on you!

I learned in my marriage and family class recently that Men cheat more than women. This is something that has repeated over and over and over in history. There is an interesting fact that has been proved as well. When there are less women in the population than men, then men are monogamous. When there are more women in the population than men, then men are not monogamous.
As for my personal experience, as far as I know, I have had two men cheat on me. One was my recently ex husband. I've known women to cheat as well, and I don't know what makes people cheat, as I've never done it myself. I've always believed in the policy (when dating) that it's easier to break it off with the person you're with before you do something you'll regret rather than having to deal with the whole mess afterwards.

#1 cheating is a very wrongful thing to do to anybody! just sit back and think about the most lonving person that you have been with, and imagine if they have cheated on you and how would you feel, cheating puts a hurtful tag on a person, they could lose thier self esteem and make it very hard to get into any kind of relationships. in a relationship not either one should ever think about cheating and if they do, they need to part thier ways before someone gets hurt, even though they might get hurt by breaking the relationship, at least you are saving thier dignity and thier further trust in people upon thier next relationship.

Who cheats more? Men or women? Women hands down. Is there something a person in a serious or marriage relationship do to prevent it? Yes, keep communicating, and loving...alot! I've been prompted alot of times..........and only fell a couple of times.....and ONLY because my spouse is a worthless piece of crap! If he gave a rats behind what I thought, it would never be an issue!

Cheating, well, when you eliminate those that only think their partner is, those that bull$hit that they are getting a bit on the side, wankers, dreamers and idiots, you aren't left with very many that actually are cheating. Reasons guys cheat, wife won't give it to them, wife won't try anything kinky, wife is a dead ****, wife has got fat, wife has got old, wife has got ugly, a change is as good as a holiday, just plain stupid and gullible....more...ask a woman why they do it.

I have cheated and been cheated on and let me tell you cheating is much more fun. While I understand why he is doing it it bothers me that when I asked straight up if he was he lied . I'm calling a lawyer soon, so I guess it doesn't really matter anyway.
