after i updated to 7.0 i no longer can use internet explorer. when i open the browser i get the page cannot be displayed page but i have connection to the internet. can someone please help!! i tried everything...help me

I had the same problem. In the source box go there and at bottom left of the page there is a free Firefox download. Use this browser and the problem will go away. You might even find it is a better browser anyway.

Try visiting a page other than the default homepage to see if your browser will work on different sites.
If that doesn't work, to test your internet connection go to Start >Run and type cmd. A command prompt will appear. In the command prompt window type "ping yahoo.com". It should then say:
Pinging yahoo.com [216.109....... If not, it is most likely a problem with your network connection.

No No No. Try this for a chance look for network connections and check ur second connection if it is disabled enabled it immediately or if that does not work than restart and try it again.

try running the internet connection setup in Tools > Internet options > connections > setup

restart the computer and then it will work,thats a problem i had too
