If you only had one day to make a difference in the world, what would you do or say and how would you accomplish it?

I really like to think that everyday that I am here on earth that I somehow run into someone or make a difference in someone's life. In doing that I do make a difference every day, not just one day.

Maybe I'm a pessimist or a realist, but I don't think that I can make a big difference in the world myself. I'm not that powerful. I can only make a small difference in the lives of those that I encounter. If I can help just one person, if I can lessen the burden of sorrow for one person, if I can be kind and have some effect on at least one person's life then at least I've made that difference.
Also, I write songs & sing for an audience. So I might be able to reach people through my music. If I became famous I could reach a much wider audience, but I'll settle for the small crowd at my favourite bar. I know that I have touched a few people with my music.
I'm a painter & my artwork has also reached a number of people. I suppose if I was going to try to change the world I'd like to do it creatively. We all have unique talents & we should all use the gifts that we're given to make the world a better place.

If I only had one day huh? I guess I would try to locate murderers and rapists, and just start executing them. I think that would definately help society, and also save the average taxpayer the expense of having to keep them in the legal system and prisons. It would also prevent the same people from ever doing it again.

We are making a difference every day and today will be different forever in that we are acitive and alive and make a change just by being here.

Presupposing I have the capacity to change what I wanted, I would eliminate the agoraphobia between cultures and allow everyone to understand where everyone was coming from. After that, if we still hated each other and wanted to fight wars, to hell with it, we deserve the trouble.
