To see the Paste Options menu that omernos talks about, you must click the button. Then you can choose one of the following:

- Keep Source Formatting (doesn't change the pasted text at all)

- Match Destination Formatting (makes it look like the text near it)

- Keep Text Only (pastes the text without formatting - this is most useful for pasting just the words of a link from a web page and not the link itself)

-Apply Style or Formatting... (this lets you choose how it looks)

Go ahead and play with the different selections to see what they do.

This button pops up when you copy a text and it has a little menu of options.

The options included would ask you whether you like to remain the original formatting of the text copied (font size, links, bold, italic...etc), this one is usually the first one under "Keep Source Formatting"

The other option which usually says "Keep text only", which gets rid of the original formatting of the text and adapts the formatting of the place you're pasting it into
