Yes, Blondie did sing it... but there is also a remake by Atomic Kitten... just in case you need to know that too. personally, the remake is a little more up beat and fun!

the song orginally was sung in1965 by a group called " the paragons"
after that it was sung by another group called " blondie" in 1980 that is sung by a female artiste
& even later it was sung again by yet another group called" the atomic kittens" in 2002, as the name suggests its also a girl band so basically you can chose which version should you chose to hear!!
