I have a password protected email account. I had to update some software on his computer and I just found out he has his email password protected. I'm pissed and I don't know why I feel this way. I want it off and I want to confront him about it. Why do I feel this way?

Everyone in a relationship is deserving of some privacy. You don't have to share every little detail of your lives.

It's a matter of trust. You either have it, or you don't.

You don't read each others' postal mail, do you?

Why should you need to read each others' email.

Every relationship is different, but a healthy relationship isn't haunted by fear and suspicion.

Leave the poor guy alone and give him some privacy.

Why are you worried about it if you yourself have a password protected email account?

I could be mistaken, but most email Accounts have some sort of password. Would you want ANYONE to have access to your email...Especially stupid to do if you pay bills or buy things online.
