...Please somehow I installed internet explorer 7,I just want my computer back to how it was before. Please computer learned person out there who knows how? Or a customer care phone number for Microsoft please. certain features are missing..please help me.

Simply uninstall it and you will find that the older IE still working without need to reinstall it. Why did u change ur mind? Do you have problem with new IE? IE7 is just fine and more streamlined. Take your time to get familiar with it.

System Restore to a checkpoint on a date BEFORE you installed ie.7
(NOTE: it will not tell you when- so i suggest checking the control panel)
P.S. It might be dangerous without having an internet explorer after you uninstall it because updates and links connect to different parts of ie.

uninstall internet explorer 7 and install ie 6

I had the same problem. In the source box go there and at bottom left of the page there is a free Firefox download. Use this browser and the problem will go away. You might even find it is a better browser anyway.

go into your control panel and deleate microsoft internet 7. if the old one is not back then you can go download the old version.

try a system restore if you just can't uninstall it.

just go to add/delete programs and delete it
