A hypocrite is someone who says to do something one way, yet doesn't do it him/herself. It can also be when you say not to do something, and do it anyway. i can be a hypocite sometimes, and most people are also without even trying to be hypocritical. it's not a stupid question because i didn't even know 'till recently either!

A hypocrite is someone who says one thing but does the opposite. For example: a person complains how a certain religion is really a cult in disguise and then becomes a new member. Another example: a person says he/she is not a racist and then performs racist actions. That is a hypocrite.

Its somebody that says one thing but does the opposite, or close to it. Its like wearing a "Meat is Murder" T-shirt (or something) while eating a double cheeseburger.

a hypocrit is somone that complains or gripes to somone about somthing say that they gripe at you for eating corny dogs...and then they actully eat corny dogs so they are griping at you for doing somthing that they do to
