I don't have a green thumb, but my mom gave me a Peace Lily and it has been thriving for almost three years now. I would recommend one to anyone that does not have a green thumb or the patience for high maintenance plants.

roses are really nicee, or a little pot of flowers! They don't need much caring or attention, just water to keeep growing.

BONZ-I TREE (not how you spell it but thats how it sounds)<-SPRAY AROUND THE TREE, its cute
BAMBO sticks in a long thin vase<-- KEEP THEM IN WATER
THEY LAST LONG ESPECIALLY BONZI TREE

Pothos...they could withstand nuclear warfare and never die. PLUS they are good hearty growers.
